A painting commissioned by a friend. We worked on the design a lot together and I provided a lot of shots of the painting in progress. This is an homage to the iconic American Gothic with a number of substitutions, inlcuding a super soaker, a Daft Punk helmet, and Kanye West as the sun (a la the baby from teletubbies).
I'm really proud of the way this turned out and I think it's one of my best works. This was during a period where I didn't photograph my art much, so please forgive the poor quality on the photos!
